Second test day 1:
England made 346/6 on Day 1 of second test at Lords. The openers put a record first wicket stand of 196 for England in the ashes at Lords, before Cook fell for an impressive 95 to Johnson. Then Ravi Bopara came and gone & there was a little collapse, losing Peterson, Collingwood & Matt prior. Then came Andrew Flintoff, with a huge roar from the crowd, but fell cheaply for 4 runs. The highlight of the day was the innings of captain Andrew strauss, who scored 150 of 255 balls and ended the day with 161.
